Another gorgeous Tenmoku cup. Presumably named "Wood" for the brown hue of the glaze, this looks to me more like the texture of pebbles or even scales. The contrast of the brown and dark blue is lovely. This design and Sunflower go particularly well together.

the weight of this cup is incredible, very solid, well-balanced, and a pleasure to hold! the glaze is beautiful, pictures truly do not do it justice. it doesn't have an iridescence to it like some other tenmokus, but the colors are impossibly vibrant and bring out the beauty of the tea. shipping was quick, and it arrived well-packaged in a sturdy padded display box.
